Bed
Bed is a video installation piece that utilizes three CRT’s in varying sizes that display footage taken on a Sony Hi8 camcorder of Lenny lying in the grass, at night in the rain, eventually disappearing - then to be looped infinitely. The performance was an exploration in seeking comfort and solace within the flora of her own backyard. Finding a home in the earth outside of her home that contains her earthly possessions. Bed is an homage to Ana Mendieta’s Earth Body series.
